Kentville: Maritime Express
Maritime Express Cider Co. is my favourite place for lunch or dinner in Kentville.

This cidery and restaurant occupies the former Cornwallis Inn, a Tudor-style railway hotel renowned for its architectural beauty and social significance from 1930 to 1973.

They specialize in small-batch ciders made from 100% Annapolis Valley apples. Their offerings include innovative blends like:
Conductor Cranberry: A dry cider infused with organic cranberries.
Lady Grey: A floral cider blended with bergamot and lemon peel.
Snowed In: A spiced cider featuring cinnamon, vanilla, and ginger.
Ocean Ltd.: A bold cider aged with Hungarian oak, showcasing honey and apple pie notes.
These ciders are cold-fermented beneath the taproom’s stone floors, ensuring quality and flavour.
They also serve a selection of local craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Looking for a fun night! The first Wednesday of the month is Trivia Night. Register in advance to ensure you have a spot, it runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
All About The Food
The restaurant complements its ciders with a small but diverse menu. I’m partial to the Caesar salad, while my wife usually orders their Eggs Benedict, which is served on a sweet potato biscuit.

Their french fries are some of the best hand cut fries in the Valley. The Buddha Bowl and Fried Chicken sandwich are also in our regular rotation.
